We Prosper Together’s $9 Million Catalyst Fund
This week is the kickoff for California Jobs First Catalyst Fund information events. The Catalyst Fund is awarding $9 million in grants for workforce development projects in eight Northern California counties, with a stated mission to:
Invest in industries that will advance environmentally sustainable, future focused, high quality job opportunities
Fund projects that ensure workers and disinvested communities are the primary beneficiaries
Advance projects toward implementation readiness, positioning them to compete effectively for future federal, state, or private funding
There will be a webinar for project proposers next Tuesday, December 10, from 9am to 10:30am. (Register Here) You can also learn more about the program in the Catalyst RFP Release and the Community Ambassador Toolkit. Applications will be accepted from now until February 2, 2025.
Those interested in applying or learning more should get in touch with our very own representative in this project, Zach Freels, by email at principal@zfpublicaffairs.com or by phone at (916) 538-0195. Zach can provide invaluable guidance in the application process.
